Poem: Picking Pearls and Poetries – Divyosmi Goswami

The poet bleeds ink,
Bloating the paper.
And the oyester,
Clams onto it’s pearl.
Giving flights of expression,
To the pain felt within the bones.

And someone stumbles upon,
The resting shell or the barbed heart,
And while both are intoxicated by pain,
One is swindled of it’s pearl and another of poetry.
